Steak Parmesan

Beef, Main Dish | Servings: 2

Ingredients

2 - 1/2 to 1 inch Ribeye Steaks

4 cloves Garlic, minced

2 Tblsp unsalted Butter

2 cups Marinara Sauce , warmed Homemade is best, but your favorite jarred sauce works too.

1 pound Fresh Mozzarella sliced

Directions

Preheat broiler.

Cook the steaks to you liking using your favorite method of cooking. I prefer grilling over charcoal but pan searing or Sous vide is good too

Allow the steaks to rest as you prepare the garlic and warm the Marinara Sauce.

In a small pot, warm the Marinara Sauce over low heat. Alternatively you can place sauce in a microwave safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap and heat until warm.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium low heat and add the minced garlic. Allow the garlic to just soften- DO NOT BROWN

Spoon the softened garlic evenly over steaks.

Ladle 1 cup of warm Marinara Sauce over each steak and top with slices of Mozzarella.

Place under broiler until the cheese has melted, is bubbly and slightly browned on top.

Serve immediately
